150. This case signifies from, denoting separation and motion.
1st. It is sometimes rendered by our word out; used in the sense of from; as,
വഴിയിൽനിന്ന മാറണം. Move out of the way.
അവർ അവന്റെ ജാതിയിൽനിന്ന അവനെ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞു.
They thrust him out of his cast.
അവൻ അവളുടെ വീട്ടിൽനിന്ന അവളെ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന അടിച്ചു.
He brought her out of her house and beat her.
അവൻ നഗരത്തിങ്കൽനിന്ന പുറപ്പെട്ട പൊയി.
He departed out of the City.
2nd. It corresponds to from; thus,
അവൻ തന്റെ കുഡുംബത്തിൽനിന്ന പിരിഞ്ഞു പൊയി.
He separated himself from his family.
അവൻ ആ മരത്തിന്റെ അഗ്രത്തിങ്കൽനിന്ന വീണു പൊയി.He fell from the highest part of that tree.
എവിടെനിന്ന വന്നു. Whence came you.
ആകാത്ത വൃക്ഷത്തിൽനിന്ന ആകാത്ത ഫലങ്ങൾ വരും.

3rd. This case signifies distance from any place and may be rendered by the English preposition of; as,
കൊട്ടയം മാവെലിക്കരയിൽനിന്ന വടക്കാകുന്നു.
Cottayam is North of Mavelicara.
കൃഷ്ണപുരം മാവെലിക്കരയിൽനിന്ന ആറ നാഴിക വഴി തെക്കാകുന്നു.
