151. The vocative case, with or without interjections, usually commences a sentence; as,
നന്നടൊ കലി. It is well, O Kaly!
ദൈവമെ എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കെണമെ, O God! Save me.
അയ്യൊ സങ്കടം. Alas, what sorrow.
ചെങ്ങാതി എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വാ, O Friend, come to me.
സ്വാമി നിന്നിൽ ഞാൻ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു.
