138. Besides the adverbs that are naturally such; as, ഇവിടെ here, &c. some are formed from nouns by adding ആയിട്ട to the nominative; as,

In affirmative sentences this word is best supplied by തന്നെ; as,
പ്രകൃതി തന്നെ ഇതിനെ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
Even nature teacheth this.
In native writings പൊലും is placed at the end of a sentence to denote uncertainty in the mind of the speaker; as,
അവൻ വരും പൊലും.
It is said that he will come but I am not sure of it, or he may come perhaps.
